  • Dan Kerr, P.E., President Dan joined Burns Mechanical as its new president on July 1, 2013. Previously, Dan was the Director of Energy Services for our sister PPL company, McClure Company, and led their $40+ million design-build and energy services group. Dan managed energy retrofits of over 30 million square feet of Pennsylvania buildings, and his team won national awards from Contractor Magazine and the DBIA. Dan is a registered Professional Engineer and a 1991 graduate of the Penn State School of Architectural Engineering.
  • Tim Snope, P.E., Vice President, Pre-Construction Tim started in the mechanical contracting business in 1988 after briefly working for a marine engineering firm. He earned his degree in mechanical engineering from Lafayette College in 1985 and is a registered Professional Engineer. Tim has a broad depth of project management and estimating experience in the Philadelphia region, where he has worked for the past 25 years. He joined Burns Mechanical as Vice President in 2001.

  • Keith Thomas, Director of Construction Operations Keith is a PA State Certified Steamfitter with over 25 years of experience in the mechanical contracting business. During the first 12 years of his career Keith worked in the field, reaching the position of General Foreman where he managed a crew of 40 steamfitters. He achieved the position of project manager in 1997, and has successfully managed some of the largest commercial construction projects in the city of Philadelphia for Burns Mechanical. Keith has built his career on developing strong customer relations, and his excellence at project planning and scheduling.
  • Mike Browne, CPA, Controller A graduate of Widener University, Mike joined Burns Mechanical in 2003. Previously, as a manager for a public accounting firm, he served clients primarily in the construction industry, from start-up companies to those with annual revenue of more than $100M. This experience, along with his expertise in accounting and tax matters, contributes significantly to the success of our company.

  • Matthew Rafferty, General Manager, Service Division Matthew joined Burns Mechanical in 2014, bringing more than two decades of industry experience to his role at Burns including an exceptional track record of understanding customer needs, improving operations, and increasing productivity. Rafferty holds an array of technical, operational excellence, and leadership certifications.
